Project Homeless Connect & Hyatt Regency San Francisco

Project Homeless Connect (PHC) has a 12-year history of providing life-changing services for people experiencing homelessness in San Francisco. At the annual vital one-stop shop events, we bring together over 100 local organizations to provide free, on-site care including medical care, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, legal advice, dental care, eyeglasses, fresh lunch, veterinary care, groceries, massage, and more. Starting in early 2017, PHC is implementing a new mobile services unit to expand our reach. The PHC CareVan will make sure that anyone in the San Francisco who needs our services will receive them.

The team at Hyatt Regency San Francisco has been volunteering with PHC for over two years, providing direct care for our homeless neighbors. In 2016, Hyatt Regency helped fundraise for the CareVan, including an employee Fun Run challenge.

This grant will provide dentures and eyeglasses for San Franciscans experiencing homelessness. These vital services will be delivered via the PHC CareVan, reaching underserved neighborhoods in San Francisco and making sure that no one in our city needs to feel alone.
