Rainbow Home and Park Hyatt Hyderabad
Park Hyatt Hyderabad will award a grant to Association for Rural and Urban Needy (Rainbow Home Program), which secures the basic rights of the children formerly on the streets through guaranteed education, nutrition, clothing, health care, recreation, love and support to ensure their reintegration into mainstream Indian society through an open, voluntary, non-custodial, long term residential hostel approach to child care and with a safe living environment in order for them to lead a happy childhood.
The Hyatt community grant will help Rainbow Homes to provide comprehensive care to these girls. Park Hyatt Hyderabad volunteers have constantly helped make Rainbow Homes a better place by helping in repairing crucial infrastructure and painting an entire home.
Rainbow Homes program is unique model which has been recognized by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is Government of India, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and received several accolades. We have set up 30 Rainbow Homes for girls and 15 Sneh Ghars for boys in 8 cities. Currently provide a home and new future for more than 2,600 girls and 900 boys.
